Richard Yep

Richard Yep, executive director of the American Counseling Association, was recently appointed as a member of the digitalNow Advisory Group. The group is responsible for selecting topics and presenters for the annual digitalNow Conference, which addresses the critical issues facing association leaders in the digital age, including branding, personalization, developing an online community, lifetime loyalty and e-learning.

The conference brings together CEOs and volunteer leaders from some of the most influential professional, nonprofit and trade associations in the United States and will be held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort from April 25-28.

According to the digitalNow website, “Much of association leadership is about clarifying your value proposition, creating effective strategies, and structuring your association so that it can execute in a business and social environment that has changed dramatically in recent years. To great extent, the leadership issues of the day are the digital issues.”

Yep has worked for ACA for 24 years, including the past 13 as the association’s CEO. He is the immediate past chair of ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and currently sits on the ASAE Board of Directors.
